Summer Office Hours: A reminder that during June, July and August the church office is closed on Mondays.

Please call the parsonage if there is a need.

9:00 a.m. Road Walkers: You are invited to come to Derry Twp. Park and walk with others from the Church.

     First day of school! Please pray for our children, youth & teachers.

Charge Worship & Picnic at Derry Twp. Park:   will be Sunday, September 12^th! We will begin at the park at 10:00 a.m. with coffee and donuts. At 11:00 a.m. Daryl Willow Ministries will present a concert. After the concert we will have a tureen dinner. Please bring a dish to share and your own table service. There will NOT be Worship or Sunday School at either church on September 12^th.

Homecoming Date Change: This year our Homecoming Worship Celebration has been changed to a week earlier – Sunday, September 19^th! to connect with National Neighborhood Day which will be our next community outreach project.

Community Restaurant Discount Card – for use between July 31^st, 2010 and July 31^st, 2011 is now available. The card benefits the Lumina Center. Cards are $10.00 this year. Cards are available from Shirley Brown, Tom Davis, Debbie Smoker and the Church office. You may see the restaurants participating on the enclosed insert this week.

NOTICE CHANGE!: Church Pre-Buy Oil Program – for this year for Nittany/KV, Hilltop & Wilsons has been changed from 2.949 a gallon to 2.899 a gallon. If you tell them you want to be part of the church pre-buy program, three cents a gallon will be given to the church. If you have questions, you may call church office to get contact name and number.

Rev. Freed – fell when visiting his son, Dick, in Kentucky. He fractured his right upper arm and right shoulder. He had a partial shoulder replacement done. He will be in this facility for a couple of weeks. Those who wish to send cards, please contact church office for his address.
